CEDS

The Panhandle Area Development District (PADD) has released the 2021 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for 30-day public review. (07/26/21)

The five-year CEDS is a document which analyzes regional data and provides strategic planning that will guide PADD and the 11 Panhandle counties: Banner, Box Butte, Cheyenne, Dawes, Deuel, Garden, Kimball, Morrill, Scotts Bluff, Sheridan, and Sheridan and the 40+ communities over the next five years.

Through data analysis, public input, and private-public participation, the CEDS should provide a strategy for best leveraging competitive advantages and addressing the regional needs. The EDA has required a mandatory update to be completed by September 30, 2021.

A copy of the CEDS draft is available at the PADD office located at 1620 Broadway – Suite A10, Scottsbluff, NE 69361 or as a PDF by clicking the blue button below.
